Ceile Prowse is a Vancouver based artist who was born in Montreal, and grew up in England. She holds a Masters Degree from the National Centre for Computer Animation in Bournemouth, U.K.

Ceile has worked commercially and independently in animation using a variety of traditional and computer driven animation techniques. Her films employ a playful approach to issues such as addiction, bereavement, Princess Diana and motherhood.  Her work has been screened and broadcast internationally and received funding from the Canada Council, the NFB and MuchMusic. She has been an instructor in Animation at Emily Carr University since 2006.
